Sebina (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online business promoting sustainable, low waste production values and we are committed to adopting the highest environmental management standards in all our areas of our business and community.

Scope

This Environmental Sustainability Policy (“Policy”) and associated procedures apply to all our directors, officers, employees, advisers, affiliates and contractors working for the company. Our Policy forms the foundation of our commitment to reduce its impact on the environment and our sustainability approach. It sets out our key aims, principles and responsibilities.

Policy

This Policy is our commitment to support the principles of environmental sustainability and the aim of our Policy is to:
  • Efficient use of natural resources, materials and energy resources in daily operations.
  • Communicate environmental initiatives internally and externally by making our Policy publicly available on our website, and improve information to employees during our new staff induction process about their environmental roles and responsibilities, and our processes in our everyday operations.
  • Comply with relevant local environmental policy, practices, regulations and industry-specific legislation.
  • Maximise the recycling of resources.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Commit to preventing pollution to the environment, monitor our environmental impacts and continual improvement.
  • Minimise pollution by taking steps to limit carbon emissions.
  • Encouraging suppliers to meet high standards of environmental performance.
  • Review this Policy annually and measuring performance as part of that review.
  • Improve our cost control and offset our carbon footprint by using carbon balanced printers and paper.
  • Use modern energy saving products and materials, and prevent the use of harmful materials or high energy consuming production.
  • Reduce, reuse, repair and recycle materials where practical.
In the event we receive evidence of any adverse environmental impact with an existing supplier, we would enforce zero tolerance and immediately seek improvements.
